A little about me!

Hi! I'm Lydia!
I'm a 24 year old living in LA a lot of opinions and very little money. I graduated college knowing only one thing: I have no idea what I want to do with my life. So, like any sane person, I packed my bags and moved to Los Angeles. I figured if I don't know what I want, might as well go where they have everything.
Since then, I've been on a journey of career discovery. I've worked on late-night TV, designed websites, interned at lit management companies, and have had many, many quarter life-crises.
In this blog I hope to cover the things I'm discovering about work, life, and the balance in-between.
So come with me as we throw spaghetti at the wall and see if anything sticks!

Hey Lydia! Lovely to meet you! I'm Sanjay, a music composer (I feel like we had a class together once?)
Love the honesty here—your journey feels very relatable, especially the part about not having everything figured out after college. The mix of different experiences in LA also makes this feel like a genuine exploration rather than a straight path, which is refreshing (to me at least).
Looking forward to seeing what you discover!
It's so cool how many different experiences you have! Can't wait to hear about them
I like how honest this is, especially the “throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks” part. I feel like a lot of people move to LA without having everything figured out and just learn as they go.
Out of everything you’ve tried so far, was there anything that surprised you or made you realize you enjoyed it more than you expected?
